Hey I’m charlie! I’m a female tattoo artist working from the Stung By Steel studio in Wallington. I have been working here since February 2014, it’s such a greate nvironment to work in!

Well how did I get to this point, you may ask? It all happened so fast! After completing a national diploma in art & design at Carshalton college I found myself at the University of the Creative Arts. To tell you the truth, I struggled to settle on one medium and style to focus my efforts around, and I wanted to leave. A family friend had mentioned that someone they knew was opening a tattoo shop and that I should take a look. I was offered a day’s experience, then an apprenticeship, and now I am here! So unexpected but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m finally in an environment that my creativity can thrive in, and the flattering feedback I get from my clients really encourages me to continue developing my craft.

I’ve been tattooing for about a year and a half now. I've tattooed in many different styles and enjoy them all but recently I have been getting into a style called “dotwork”- examples of which you can see in my portfolio.

I am inspired daily by the abundance of tattoo artists that are acesssible online, and along with the guys I work with in the shop, as a team we’re constantly discussing ideas and pushing each other to improve. We share a brilliant work ethic, and this really comes across to our clients and ultimately their tattoos. I hope the studio is as welcoming to you as it has been to me!

I pride myself on providing my clients custom tattoo designs and working with them on a 1-to-1 basis to create a design that they are 100% happy with. I find that some clients struggle getting the idea in their head put to paper, so I work with them closely to get the best possible result.

I hope to ink you soon!
